The museum is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., except Mondays and Tuesdays.
Wednesday to Thursday: 15:30 – 19:30
Friday to Sunday: 11:30 – 19:30*.
Tickets to visit the museum are only available at the physical ticket office.
*Please note that on Sundays the museum closes at 15:00 instead of 19:30. Check our website for more details before your visit!
General admission: 6€ (From 6 to 16 years old) / 8€ (From 16 to 65 years old)
Reduced admission*: 5€
Children under 6 years old: Free of charge
*Persons over 65 years of age can enjoy a reduced rate on their museum admission. Do not forget to present a valid identification document at the time of ticket purchase.
Mendietxe museoa is located in the historic Convent of the Slaves of the Sacred Heart, in the heart of Azpeitia, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery that reflects our passion for mountaineering.

From San Sebastian: Take the GI-631 towards Azpeitia. The trip takes approximately 45 minutes.
From Bilbao: Travel via the AP-8 and the GI-63.
The trip takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
From San Sebastian or Bilbao, you can take a direct bus to the Azpeitia bus station.
The nearest train station is Estación de Loyola, just a 10-minute walk from the museum.
